SEIU 721 members joined community groups in Downtown Los Angeles on Tax Day to stand up for the 99% and tell the 1% it's time that they pay their fair share. Members played Dodgeball with the 1% and collected signatures for the Governor's New Revenue Plan, which will increase state revenue by $8 billion a year and guarantee funding for public services.

After the Coalition of LA City Unions rejected its original holiday closure plan, the City went back to the drawing board to rewrite the plan so that it was in accordance with the intent of the Letter of Agreement we negotiated last spring.
